Is it gonna happen/has anyone thought about it?

Did the sponsor's love the event, if so do you reckon they'd do it again?

From what I can gather through the forums and talking with those who went it seemed to have been a really positive exercise, did most involved think so?

i didnt think it was that great.. the venue was to small. and a few other things that made it not so great(seats bookings being stuffed.)

lanfest>bdi

but still was fun.

well i think, if BDI was successful, maybe more will come next time and that means bigger better venue.. Like, if we get an extra 200 people(making it 1200) that is an extra $4000 towards venue.. And money will probewrly not be an issue this time as there will be alot more sponsors who will help pay fopr venue costs..

Seriously though, are there any plans (even if they're "still just thinking about it" plans) for BDI 2004?

I came down with 15 friends to BDI it,it would have to be the biggest and by far the best lan we have ever attended! Now the group that came down with me will be increased to about close to 25 people if its on in 2004!! it would be awesome if it is. For all those sore loosers out there, unregister your account if you hate it so much. The atmoshpere ticket handling and gaming experience was great, if you had taken the time in advance to get your tickets organised it would not of happened! We are all looking forward to the next lan! - Lan on peoples

I work for a commercial radio station in Albury called Star Fm which broadcasts to 30 markets through out the state I can have the event pluged to a potential 1 million plus listeners, which would get ppl's to come aswell:) plus be great publicity for BDI.

I was also there at the start of the year and it was heaps fun and i had a fantastic time. The venue was great, bit stuffy though:P The games were awsome and I just had an overall good time.

So I hope that BDI 2004 will be going ahead

i came up with two busloads of lanners from canberra!

It was great :)

But I do understand the MASSIVE ammount of effort it is to create such an event.

I would still like to see one in the near future tho! :)

It defintetley should go ahead, Unfortuantly there were hundreds of people (like myself) who for whatever reasons (such as they didnt have their own PC), missed out on BDI 2003, A bunch of my friends went and they all said it was the craziest thing they'd ever been to, so please please hold it again at least for the sake of those who enjoyed it and those who would really like to enjoy it
