Ok I'm getting pissed off now.

I thought BDI was run very professionally, you guys did a great job in running a massive event for 1000 mostly unappreciative players. Everything ran smoothly, the comps actually ran and finished, you even had cool player tags, sponsors, everything.

SURELY it can't be that hard to organise prize money. SURELY this should have been done BEFORE the event like everything else, not after. SURELY it's not good enough that 6 weeks later there is still no money. SURELY the excuse that "we are waiting to get the money" is not good enough. And SURELY this vail of silence is not helping.

Why is it that you guys can run an event in such a professional manner yet you always seem to f*** up when it comes to prizes?!

Those that know me know that I don't really give a s*** about the money, I don't really need it, I'm not a pro-gam0r. But it's the principle of the thing. If you advertise an event with certain prizes then those should be given on the day, and as promised. Can you imagine Andre Agassi being told "congrats mate, you won the Aussie open, the cheque is in the mail!".

No, you don't get the money from ticketmaster untill a few weeks after the event. Thats if every thing works out 100%.

Once the money from the tickets are givin to shafted the prizes will be givin out.

I don't know what your complaining about. Some of the shafted people are owned 1000's of dollars from what i have heared. I think they would be doing the best they can to get there money back.

and from what i see, n2c are the ones that were giving the prizes for the BF42 comp.

I'm complaining about the fact that when I pay $40+ for a service I expect a certain standard.

LANs have come a long way since the days when a bunch of people used to get together and pitch in $5 each for hall hire. For $40+ I expect perfection, nothing less. Thats what I'm complaining about. And as a customer I have the right to complain, and it's your job to listen and do something about it.
