After spending the morning cleaning a delightful virus that spreads via network shares, I'd like to remind everyone to update their virus definitions BEFORE they come, and remove write access to any shares they may have.

Most of the new virus's get it via IIS...

i concur, we had a few viruses floating around at 18 and 19 and few smaller ones at 22 as far as i recall?

my virus scanner is always upto date and i usually dont share anything on LAN anyway, but it could get quite annoying if i am playing a game to have Nortons pop up like it did once when i forgot to unshare one of my incoming foldlers
